"For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 Now this is 2 tips rolled up into one. And neither of them will come across as marriage advice, but bear with me. The first tip is to take God at His word! The Bible is jam packed full of promises that He's given to His children. PROMISES! And if you know even just a tiny bit about our mighty God, then you know that He keeps his promises! And that leads me to my main point/tip. In James 1:5 we find one of the most under used promise of God's book. It says... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that gives to all men LIBERALLY and unbraideth not (doesn't judge us), and it shall be given." Wisdom! At your finger tips!! Wisdom for your marriage, wisdom for your finances, wisdom for raising your children, wisdom for knowing how to handle the in-laws, the outlaws and any other laws there are out there! Many, MANY times in my 25 years of marriage and raising a family I've reminded God of that promise. I'd say, God, you remember how you said in your Word that you'd give wisdom to ANYBODY that asks and you'd give it abundantly... plentiful, lots and lots? Well here's my situation.... And young wives, he has never failed to fulfill that promise to me. So try it today. Take God at His word and glean from the promises made to you, his beloved Children.
